MHIT 2009 - Hungarian Traditional Archer Table

The 2nd Hungarian Traditional Archer Table (MHIT*) was held in Törökbalint, Hungary between February 13th & 14th, 2009. There were 84 participants (61 Hungarians and 21 foreigners) and 8 countries supported the meeting.

Turkey was also invited and was represented by 4 archers: Z. Metin Ates, Safak Tavkul, Dr. Y. Metin Aksoy and Ali Kilic.

The event gathered up several experts and young archers nationwide. Hungary, Turkey (2), Japan, Poland and France were presented presentations in the first evening of the event. After the presentations, Turkish and Hungarian songs were performed by Turkey and the host country together.

The competitions were held throughout the 2nd day. The winners of MHIT II at men's cat is Nagy Ferenc (after tiebreak, same points with Garas Mihaly) and the junior winner is Posta Csongor (12), Fejös Klara at the women's cat, Keszi Viktoria (15) at the junior's. The Extra International Arpad-cup winner is Arany Laszlo.
